Weißt du was mich sauer macht? Mich macht es sauer, wenn ich mich voll und ganz endlich auf etwas einlasse und es sich dann anders entwickelt. Mich nervt es, wenn ich versuche etwas aufzubauen und es dann mit Händen und Füßen getreten wird. Ich kriege zu viel, wenn sich spontan etwas ändert und ich nicht auf die Situation vorbereitet war. Ich kann außerdem mit Überraschungen nicht umgehen. Meistens steh ich nur da und schau dumm aus der Wäsche. Oder ich fange an zu weinen (meistens natürlich vor Glück), denn ich kann meine Gefühle nicht in Zaun halten. Ich bin so nah am Wasser gebaut, dass ich eine Stunde lang über das Ende eines Buches weinen könnte. Aber was mich am meisten im Leben stört ist, dass ich nicht voraus sehen kann. Dass ich mich nicht vorbereiten kann auf Dinge, die mir begegnen werden. Und genau das ist das Leben. Das ist was das Leben so unvorhersehbar und spannend macht. Sieh zu wie das Leben in dir aufblüht. Wie du aufblühst.
Do you knwo what makes me angry? It makes me angry when I commit to something and it turns out totally different. I hate it when I try to build something up and it gets trampled down. When something changes abruptly and I wasn't prepared for it. Also I can't deal with surprises. I just stand there and can't cope. Most of the times I start crying (happy tears of course) because I can't hold my feelings back. I weep so easily I'll cry for an hour after reading the end of a book. But what bothers me the most in life is when I don't know what comes next. When I am not able to prepare myself. But this is life. This is what makes life unpredictable and exciting.

Genau so läuft das auch mit der Inspiration. Unter dem Begriff stellt man sich oft eine Muse vor. Ein Künstler benötigt seine Muse(n) um inspiriert zu werden. Doch Inspiration ist nach Tschaikowsky ein solcher Besucher, der nicht immer nach der ersten Einladung erscheint. Bedeutet also - Geduld und Kopf-Zerbrechen liegt an der Tagesordnung. Wo finden wir aber Inspiration, wenn wir gerade keine Muse parat haben?
Mir hilft es oft Geschichten und Schicksale anderer Menschen zu erkunden. Manch anderer erstellt sogenannte "Mood-Boards", was absolut nicht mein Ding ist. Meine Stimmung ändert sich dafür zu oft und zu extrem, um ein solches Mood-Board aufrecht zu erhalten. Außerdem habe ich eine so geringe Aufmerksamkeitsspanne, dass ich beim Aufräumen vergesse aufzuräumen und stattdessen beim Fensterputzen aus dem Fenster gucke und die Bäume beobachte. Ärzte würden es ADS nennen, ich nenne es großes Interesse an vielen verschiedenen Dingen in meiner Umgebung.

But inspiration is a guest that does not willingly visit the lazy. Means a lot of patience and headaches daily. Where do we find inspiration if we don't own a muse?
It helps me to study the life and fate of other People. Somebody would use a mood-board, which is totally not my thing. My mood changes constantly to keep up something like this.
Besides that.. I have such a short attention span, I forget to clean up while cleaning up because I get distracted by things I find in my drawers or instead of cleaning the windows I stare outside and watch the birds in the trees. Doctors would probably call this ADD. I all it deep interest in a lot of different things around me.

Was ist denn nun eine Inspiration? Die einen sagen sie sei eine alte, romantische Idee ohne Sinn und Verstand. Die anderen empfinden sie als einen alkoholfreien Rausch. Inspiration ist genau das, was dich davon abhält das zu tun, was du ursprünglich tun wolltest. Inspiration tritt ein, handelt, lebt. Ohne Sinn und Verstand. Du kannst sie nicht planen oder in einen Kalender stecken. Sie erscheint ohne jegliche Vorwarnung.
