So thats a really great question I want to attempt to answer which won't be helpful at all. Ed Sheehan published his new single "Castle on the hill" and I fell so in love with this song. The lyrics just hit right in the feels. I turned 25 in September and can relate to all of this. We were all younger once. And we dreamt and we lived so intense (at least I wish you did, because man I did).

Who cannot remember these years? 10 years ago already? I remember it so vividly having a "sleep over" at my friends house, leaving at night waiting for the bus and hoping not to get caught by the police because we were clearly too young to be outside at 1 am! We felt so cool back then. We were about to go to a classmates house, he threw a party and cool people were invited. Actually they were just older and we thought they were cool. 

My friend drank too much and it was my first time holding someones hair back while she empties her stomach from all the alcohol she had. It was a really strange and intense night. We couldn't sleep there, we had to go back to her parents house at 5 in the morning and I can tell you we looked rough. But we felt so big back then, like if we achieved something and what not. 

I don't want to miss these moments and would never want to change anything. In the end I turned out pretty good and responsible I guess. Everyone goes through phases. Some more rebellious than others and thats okay. 

I actually told my parents a few months ago about this incident and well, they laughed but good Lord they would have killed me back then. I kind of wish my kids will experience this in their teenage years because I remember how happy and careless I was, I learned about boundaries. But on the other hand I would kill them too if I ever find out. 

So the main question was whats left when you stop dreaming right? There is no big difference if you dream or not. Its just that people who dream have way more faith, way more happiness. Think big! The world is waiting for your turn!

In den letzten Monaten ist sehr viel Negatives auf Deutschland eingeprasselt. Die Fassade des perfekten Landes bröckelt langsam ab.. Der Terror wird immer präsenter. Doch das hält mich nicht davon ab weiterhin zu reisen. Es ermutigt mich umso mehr! In dem Sinne: MENSCHENRECHTE statt RECHTE MENSCHEN.

The last few months were rough and negative on Germany. Terrorism is getting more and more present. But that's not stopping me from traveling! The sign on the crocheted traffic light says: HUMAN RIGHTS over RIGHT HUMANS.

Was wünscht man sich eigentlich mehr von seinem Partner als Zeit mit ihm zu verbringen und Erinnerungen zu sammeln? Mein Weihnachtsgeschenk war der volle Erfolg. Ich hätte mir nichts schöneres wünschen können.

What could be more wonderful than spending quality time with your partner and collecting memories? My christmas gift was a total succes! I couldn't wish for more.
 

Berlin war so wunderbar zu uns, es war sonnig und so positiv. Die Menschen dort leben wahrhaftig nach dem Prinzip "Lebe und denke nicht an morgen!", auch wenn das ein Bollywood-Streifen ist. 

Auf dem Pariser Platz, wo das Brandenburger Tor steht, war die Stimmung sehr offen. Es wurde meditiert und an die Opfer und Täter des letzten Anschlags gedacht.

Berlin was so wonderful to us, it was sunny and positive. People live totally along the lines of "don't worry be happy". The vibe at the Pariser Platz (Paris Place) at the Brandenburg Gate was very positive but calm. People would meditate and pray for the victims and the offender of the attack before Christmas.

Ich habe definitiv gelernt, dass mir nicht jede Stadt das Gefühl von Heimat geben kann. Obwohl ich immer davon geschwärmt habe dort zu leben, ging ich mit einem komischen Gefühl im Bauch nachhause. Vielleicht war die Zeit zu kurz und ich konnte mich nicht genug darauf einlassen. 

Einerseits denke ich "vielleicht bin ich kein Großstadt-Kind", weil meine Heimatstadt nicht besonders groß ist.. Aber andererseits habe ich mich in New York so unendlich wohl gefühlt. Es war irgendwie anders. Das Gefühl war da. Genau wie in Paris. Würde ich französisch können, würde ich direkt dorthin ziehen!

I definitely learned that not every city or place could give me a feeling of being home. Not right away at least to be fair. Although I always daydreamed about living in Berlin I went home with a strange feeling inside. Maybe it was the fact that the time was little and I could not let myself in to it.
On the one hand I think "I want a big city life", because well my hometown is not big at all. On the other hand I felt so endlessly good in NY. It was somehow different. I got the feeling. Same in Paris. If I could speak french, I would move instantly!

Ich möchte dieses Jahr mindestens noch einen weiteren neuen Ort sehen. Hoffentlich mit einem baldigen Trip nach Brighton/England. Darauf bin ich schon sehr gespannt! Das Meer, der Strand, die Seeluft! Die süßen Häuser und Cafees, das original Fish 'n Chips!

Reisen  möchte ich zu meinem Hobby machen. Natürlich nicht allein, denn was ist schöner als solche Momente zu teilen? Und das mit der Person, die man am meisten liebt?

I want to travel so bad this year, at least one more time! Hopefully on a little trip to Brighton/UK. I'm so excited already! The sea, the beach, the salt-breeze! These lovely houses and cute cafes, the original Fish 'n Chips!
I want to travel as a hobby. Not only as vacation! And not alone ofcourse, cause what's more wonderful than sharing these moments with your loved one?

Aber jetzt zurück zu Berlin! Schließlich geht es ja heute darum!😉

Was man in der Hauptstadt nicht verpassen darf, sind coole Foto-Gelegenheiten. Warten bis Menschenmengen vorbeigegangen sind und den Moment einfangen.
 Auf dieses Bild bin ich persönlich sehr stolz..guckt euch diese Beinspannung an!! Jahrelanger Sport zahlt sich eben aus!😅💪
